Help Us Preserve Tiverton Farmlands for the future.

In the last 80 years, 80% of Rhode Island’s precious agricultural land has been paved over, fragmented, or developed.

The Tiverton Land Trust has a rare opportunity to preserve 30 acres of farmland on Nonquit Pond in perpetuity and we need your help.

Together we can do great things. We’ve done it before.

We saved Pardon Gray from becoming a housing development and instead created an amazing 200+ acre open space for everyone to enjoy. We protected 5 properties to expand Pocasset Ridge, a 617 acre preserve adjacent to Weetamoo Woods and Pardon Gray. But our work isn’t done.

Ready to take the next step?

With a new sense of urgency, the Tiverton Land Trust is focusing on a rare opportunity to preserve 30 acres of historic farmland on Nonquit Pond. This land has been farmed continuously for over 250 years, and we need your help to ensure this farming legacy is preserved.

“Fundraising within the community is an essential part of land preservation efforts. Without the support of our neighbors, we would not be able to protect this land for future generations”

— Erik Watne, TLT President
